1. Every first and second Sundays of the month, we usually offer our tithe to the Lord. Today being the first Sunday of July, you are invited to make your offering by bringing your tithe envelopes to the Sanctuary for blessings. Our Parish Tithe Mpesa Pay bill No. is 867165. 2. Our monthly wellness talks will come to an end on Sunday 21st July 2024. This month’s topic will be about GIVING with Mr. Patrick Njagi being the guest speaker. We thank you for your positive feedback. Starting next month, August 2024, the church is organizing full seminars where the topics that have been covered briefly during mass, as well as other topics, will be presented in detail and with an interactive participation of those in attendance. Please purpose to attend the seminars once they roll out.
3. MYM Announcement
a. All Youth aged 13yrs to 18yrs (Teenagers) are requested to attend their MYM Mass every Sunday at 10 am at St. Joseph Hall downstairs.
b. Every Saturday from 3pm to 5pm MYMs come for Choir and Musical Instruments practice. Parents are kindly requested to bring their Teens.
4. YSC - 12 Noon Mass Announcement
Today we celebrate the Feast of our YSC Patron Saint BLESSED PIER GIORGIO FRASSATI
5. The Father-in-charge would like to inform you that Deacon Antony Makau, who was with us as a seminarian until late last year, will be ordained to the Order of Priesthood next Friday 12th July 2024 at the Holy Family Minor Basilica from 10 am. He will come to offer a thanksgiving Mass here at OLR in the month of August.
6. The pilgrimage trip to Greece and Turkey is scheduled for the month of October (from the 10th to the 20th 2024). We will follow the footsteps of St. Paul’s evangelical journey through Ephesus, Philippi, Corinth, Thessaloniki, Athens, Neapolis, Varia, Troy, Antioch, Istanbul among others. The cost is three thousand Euros(£3,000). For more details and registration, kindly visit the tent outside the Church.
7. Marriage Banns: for the First time. We announce the marriage between Edward Kinyanjui and Stephanie Gichungwa. Edward is son to Peter Kinyanjui and Anne Kinyanjui. Stephanie is daughter to Joseph Gichungwaand Nancy Gichungwa.
8. Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce the marriage between Robert Wahome Kamunge and Carolyne Wanjiru Mwenja. Robert is son to Peter Kamunge Wainaina and Jennifer Njeri Kamunge.Carolyne is daughter to Flora Gathoni and the Late Ezekiel Mwenja.
