1. Infant Baptism will take place on Saturday, 7thSeptember 2024 at 10 am here in Church. Baptismal instruction classes for the parents and godparents are ongoing.
2. The First Holy Communion for those who have been attending Catechism classes since April last year will be administered on Friday 23/8/2024 at 2pm. The preparation schedule is as follows;
i. Wednesday, 21st August 2024 at 2 pm; oral examination for adults and children at Ridgeways.
ii. Thursday, 22nd August 2024 at 2pm; confessions, rehearsals and baptism at Ridgeways.
iii. Friday, 23rd August 2024 at 2 pm; Mass for First Holy Communion at Ridgeways.
iv. The dress code for Friday 23rd August 2024 is white for girls, black trousers and white shirts for boys.
3. Our Parish Self-Help Group under Caritas Nairobi is still registering new members as well as junior accounts (Catch Them Young). Our office is open every Wednesday 8am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday after all Masses. Call the office at +254 715 795 357 for further assistance or queries. 4. YCA Announcement:
The Young Catholic Group would like to inform all members aged 27yrs to 35yrs that on Saturday 31st August 2024, we will hold a recollection at KomarockShrine Retreat Centre in Machakos. We assemble at the Church grounds at 8am then proceed for the retreat. For more details see the group leadership or visit the tent outside.
5. Marriage Encounter
The Archdiocese of Nairobi family life department would like to announce the original Marriage Encounter September weekend will be carried out from 13th to 15th of September 2024 at St Francis Spiritual Center(Kasarani). Concepts learned on a Marriage Encounter weekend are ongoing tools to keep a marriage strong while creating a conducive environment for parenting. We encourage couples to register at the tent outside for the upcoming September Weekend.
6. CMA Announcement:
a. Sunday, 8th September 2024 is the International MensDay (Unum Omnes). CMA will mark this day by receiving Members who were commissioned as CMA Members in other Parishes within the Archdiocese but have since transferred to our Parish during the 12:00noon Mass to be Animated by CMA. All Men who fall in this category are requested to register at the tent outside the church.
7. Mass for St Faustina SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday 20th August 2024, at 7.00 pm.
8. Mass for St Josephine Bakhita SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday 20th August 2024, at 7.00 pm.
9. Mass for Divine Mercy Group will be celebrated on Wednesday 21st August 2024, at 6.30 pm.
10. Mass for St. Bridgit Group will be celebrated on Friday 23rd August 2024, at 5.30 pm.
