The Family of the Late James Njau Kibue donated a 1-acre piece of land to the Archdiocese of Nairobi to gave a Catholic Church built on it.
About Us: What's Happening
Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Parish, Ridgeways, was elevated to the status of a parish under the Central Deanery on January 13th, 2019, by His Eminence John Cardinal Njue. The parish serves three outstations namely: Muringa, Huruma, and Karura under the guidance of the Father in Charge, Fr. George Mungai.It stands as a beacon of faith in Ridgeways. We are a place of prayer, peace and joy to all who join us. Our community is richly diverse, with people of different ages and backgrounds coming together to worship and serve together. We welcome all individuals seeking God’s love and our doors are open to every soul seeking to welcome Jesus into their heart.To the North, the Parish covers Fourways, Thindigua, Muthithi, Kugeria, and Edenville; extending up to Kenya Institute of Science and Technology's entrance, on your way to Kiambu Town. To the South, the Parish covers Karura Forest, including Old Muthaiga Area. To the East, the Parish covers Ridgeways Area, Garden Estate, and Muthaiga North Area. To the West, the Parish covers Runda Estate, Runda Evergreen, Huruma Village, and Muringa/Githogoro Village.
